The Position

This is an opportunity to join an essential business and get to be part a fun team environment. Working as part of a small team, you will be delivering orders to site, as well as working with the picking/packing team in the warehouse.

You'll be supporting essential industries and helping our trade customers get the materials they need to work effectively every day - building relationships as you go. So being good with people is a must.

We strive for quick and accurate customer service so it is essential you are a good team-worker and communicator, you pay high attention to detail and have the aptitude to navigate technology systems for daily functions.

We offer a standard 5-day (Monday to Friday) 38 hour week, with the possibility of end of shift overtime on occasions.

This role also offers a path to advancement within our branch network.

General Position Overview
What can you expect?

Loading and accurately tracking, submitting and completing delivery runs locally.

Maintaining a high standard of general housekeeping within the branch and vehicles.

Handling over the counter retail trade sales & delivering exceptional customer service.

Picking orders, warehousing and stock control activities.

Embracing the Drillfast values, policies and procedures.

Must have requirements:

Working rights in Australia

Clean drivers' licence (manual)and some general computer skills

Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening (and random on the job screening).

Be physically fit, able to work on your feet all day and lift loads of up to 25kg.

Customer service experience is essential

Preferred requirements:

C class manual driver license.

A Current forklift ticket - LF - (and operating experience) preferred but not essential.

Experience undertaking verification checks of co-workers orders/ picks.

Experience completing order packing, shipping/delivery documents, order dispatch; receipt of inbound goods and restocking warehouse.

Loading and unloading of trucks, unloading of containers both manually and with forklift.

Experience performing rolling stock takes and cycle counts.
