About the role:
In this role you will:
• Supervise and lead the Natural Resource Support Officers within the team.
• Apply knowledge of legislation, policies, and procedures to non-complex Vegetation Management matters.
• Co-ordinate and monitor the accurate processing of Vegetation Management cases to meet record-keeping requirements.
• Assess non-complex cases under supervision in line with policies, procedures, and legislation.
• Provide written and verbal advice to internal and external clients on non-complex Vegetation Management matters.
• Train and support team members on departmental systems, processes, and procedures for case processing.
• Offer administrative and financial support, using Microsoft Suite and departmental systems.
• Contribute to business improvement initiatives and maintain procedures for consistent case processing.
• Provide data from departmental databases to support internal reporting needs.
• Foster a safe and inclusive work culture within the team.

What we're looking for:
• Ability to lead a small team to deliver team outcomes.
• Knowledge of information systems, databases, and Vegetation Management case processing, along with experience in legislation, is highly regarded.
• A driver's license is desirable, and the role may require travel outside normal hours, including overnight stays and potential fieldwork.
• A positive contribution to workplace equity and diversity is expected to foster a culture of respect and inclusion.
