About the Role
We are seeking a seeking an enthusiastic and customer focussed individual that will complement the Community Safety / Ranger Services team to administer, educate and enforce parking local laws to ensure the safety of the community.

As a member of the Community Safety and Emergency Management team you will be providing a quality customer service to the community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducts uniformed high visibility patrols of City streets, parking lots and schools, identifying breaches of local parking laws and taking appropriate action to enforce these laws in accordance with the City’s policies, procedures and local laws;
  • Contributes to the efficiency of the parking and compliance function through actively participating in professional development activities and contributing to business improvement initiatives; and
  • Takes appropriate action in relation to damage to City buildings and property, missing signage, abandoned vehicles, faded road marking, unsafe situation occurrence or alleged offences observed during the undertaking of patrol duties; in accordance with the City’s policies, procedures and local laws.

About You
You will be adaptable and experienced, and someone who is passionate about delivering high quality customer service outcomes to the community. You will thrive working in a busy and change driven organisation.

As such, you will be able to demonstrate through your resume and covering letter that you meet the following capabilities:

  • Experience in the interpretation of legislation and local laws;
  • Good communication and problem solving skills;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • C class Drivers Licence; and
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
