Responsibilities:

Perform welding and fabrication tasks on heavy mobile equipment, including but not limited to dozers, excavators, loaders, and dump trucks.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate welding procedures.

Set up welding equipment and machinery, ensuring all safety protocols are strictly adhered to.

Conduct thorough inspections of equipment, identifying any welding defects or issues that may arise.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a welder with a focus on heavy mobile equipment. A minimum of 1 year of relevant welding experience is required.

Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, arc, and oxy-acetylene welding.

Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Knowledge of different welding materials and their applications in mobile equipment construction.

Possess a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality welds.

Welding certification or relevant trade qualifications.
