Are you a strong leader with a passion for working with children? We’re looking for a dedicated Youth Programs Onsite Coordinator to join our team in Toowoomba! This full-time role involves both administrative and direct support responsibilities, working with children in our programs and leading a fantastic team.

About the Role:
As the Youth Programs Onsite Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our programs, creating engaging activity plans, and directly supporting both children and your team. You will liaise closely with families and the Program Leader, ensuring smooth communication and the best outcomes for the children in our care. Your role will involve a mix of administrative tasks and hands-on leadership in coordinating activities that support children, especially those with complex needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement daily activity plans for the program.
  • Coordinate and carry out activities that engage children and support their development.
  • Lead and support your team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Liaise with families and the Program Leader to ensure communication and care plans are aligned.
  • Assist children with various needs, including emotional, behavioural, and physical support.
  • Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for both children and staff.
  • Manage administrative duties related to the program’s day-to-day operations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A leadership background, with experience managing or supervising a team.
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with complex needs or behaviours.
  • Previous experience in a school setting or working with children with disabilities is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills to liaise with families and coordinate activities.
  • Ability to create and implement engaging activity plans.
  • A positive, patient, and understanding approach to supporting children.

Requirements

  • Drivers licence
  • Working with Children Check (Blue card)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow card)
  • NDIS Orientation Module Certificate
  • CPR and First Aid certificate
