About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Male Disability Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will work both independently and as part of a team, delivering a range of services aimed at helping participants live independently, actively participate in their local community, and engage in meaningful opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing personalized care and support to clients with varying disabilities, ensuring their needs are met with empathy and dignity
Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
Engaging clients in recreational and social activities to promote their well-being and independence
Communicating effectively with clients, their families, and the broader care team to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach
Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to maintain a safe environment
What we're looking for
Minimum 6 months' experience in a similar disability support or aged care role, with a genuine passion for making a positive difference in people's lives
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
Patience, empathy, and a person-centered approach to care
A current First Aid, CPR certificate, NDIS WC, WWCC.
Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent, are highly desirable
Ability to drive house vehicles (Sedan, MPV) and a Valid Australian Drivers License.
