The Job…
Reporting to the Senior Billings Manager your role will include:

• Assist Senior Legal Assistants and fee earners the preparation of client bills and taking ownership of more complex bill matters to keep the billing process transparent and up to date.
• Accounting tasks relating to billings such as managing tax status on fees and credit notes.
  
• Provide support for complex billing matters including split and multiplayer bills.
• Set up third-party payer details and ensure accuracy in invoice presentation.
• Respond to billings related GST / VAT invoice queries.
• Minor adjustments of final invoices, eg adding purchase order details and reissuing to stakeholders.
• Generate and analyse billing reports and highlight any anomalies.
• Assist the Senior Billings Manager with daily operations including WIP reviews and disbursement reconciliations.
• Act as a point of contact for eBillling queries and liaise directly with clients to address queries and resolve any discrepancies.

The Candidate…
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in the following areas:

• Ideally you will have two years experience working in legal billings role
• Have exceptional attention to detail, excellent organsational skills and comfortable working to tight accounting deadlines.
• Great attitude, exceptional communication skills and a natural problem solving ability.
• Ability to pick up new systems, you will be given full training on the Practice Management System and be comfortable working with Excel daily.
• Experience with an eBilling platform.
• Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team.
