The Opportunity

Our client is one of Melbourne's leading consumer products businesses. Consistently growing through the strength of their brand, they are quickly becoming one of Australia's highly sought after employers.

Having started a five-year journey to transform and revitalize the company, they are looking to employ a Finance Analyst to provide meaningful commercial insights to support strategic and operations decision making.

The Challenge

This newly created role sits in the Group's supply chain division and directly reports to the Finance Manager - S&OP.

Specific responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Data analysis to identify trends and insights regarding sales, inventory and purchase orders
• Business partner across both financial and operational stakeholders
• Present findings to stakeholders to support the the company's growth objectives with commercial backing
• Establish inventory reporting metrics across the group
• Support the broader Finance Team for data requirements at month-end reporting, budgeting and forecasting
• Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc project analysis

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• You are CA or CPA qualified.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or Finance.
• Experience working in a professional services firm, ideally Big4 or mid-tier, where you have developed a strong understanding of accounting concepts and are looking to make a move in a commercial role
• Please note: candidates starting their career within industry are also encouraged to apply
• Experience with Powerquery and PowerBI is advantageous
• Demonstrated communication skills and ability to liaise with different stakeholders
• You are looking to embrace a culture of innovation, change and growth
