Maxima's Recruitment Services team are seeking an experienced Team Leader - Wastewater Services for their client, a Local Council department based in Dunwich.

This casual position has an initial 6 month contract working a 9 day fortnight on an hourly pay of $36.09 + super.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the efficient, effective and timely delivery of complex construction and maintenance services
• Effectively lead a small team of day labour staff
• Provide accurate construction technical advice and expertise both within the team and to internal and external customers
• Ensure that members of the team communicate with both internal and external customers in a polite and responsive manner
• Undertake various administrative functions, including keeping accurate records of completed works and labour, plant and materials for job costing

About You:

• LR Truck license and willing to obtain MR within a short period
• White Card
• Proven success in the delivery of construction and maintenance services within the water supply area
• People management skills particularly in the areas of staff leadership, training, motivation, conflict resolution and performance management
• Excellent customer service
• Ability to accurately undertake a variety of administrative functions including record keeping and developing maintenance plans
• Be available for site operations over weekends, public holidays and other overtime work including participation in an after hours on call roster
• Physical capability and willingness to work in confined spaces
