The Opportunity

This is a fulfilling role for a General Practitioner who thrives in a supportive, team-based environment. You’ll work alongside a dedicated full-time nurse, an experienced geriatrician, and capable admin staff—so you can focus on delivering high-impact care.

Working across aged care facilities in Hobart and Huonville, you’ll develop meaningful connections with residents while enjoying a consistent schedule and the relaxed lifestyle that southern Tasmania offers.

What You’ll Bring

A strong interest and experience in aged care.

Unrestricted AHPRA registration.

Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM, or working towards it.

What’s On Offer

1 day per week available in Hobart and/or Huonville (8 hours per shift).

$2,000 per day / $250 p/h for Fellows.

$220 p/h for those on the pathway to Fellowship.

Supported by a Registered Nurse during rounds.

Flexibility to choose your preferred working day.
