Senior IT Project Consultant

Location: Sydney (hybrid)

Salary: up to $160,000 (+super & bonus)

A growing IT solutions provider is seeking experienced Senior Project Consultants to support their expanding portfolio of complex infrastructure and cloud projects. This full-time role suits individuals with a proven ability to lead end-to-end project delivery in dynamic, client-facing environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead full lifecycle IT project delivery, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and budget.

Collaborate with internal teams and clients to define technical requirements and project objectives.

Oversee resource planning, risk management, and project governance.

Facilitate workshops, technical planning sessions, and stakeholder updates.

Provide hands-on technical leadership across modern infrastructure and cloud environments.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Support presales activities by understanding client needs and shaping proposed solutions.

Technical Expertise

Proficient across Microsoft M365 and Entra ID services including Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Conditional Access.

Experience with platforms/vendors such as Azure, VMware, Hyper-V, Veeam, Mimecast, Dell.

Background in deploying infrastructure across hybrid and cloud environments.

Familiarity with project lifecycle frameworks and MSP-style service delivery.

Advantageous: Experience working with or within Defence or highly regulated sectors.

Qualifications & Skills

5+ years in IT project delivery, consultancy, or professional services roles.

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Experience facilitating technical workshops and training.

Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, Azure).

High attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage project profitability.
