The Centre
This privately owned and exceeding purpose-built centre located in Collaroy Plateau caters 56 children from the age of 0-5 years. The service features bright and light-filled rooms providing plenty of resources to plan your daily programs for the little ones. A stunning outdoor playground is also available to promote and foster natural play experiences. Having a close relationship with parents and the community is a priority for the team.

The Role
As an assistant educator, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting and working alongside team of educators in the 0-2 age group room to implement programming leading to successful learning outcomes for the children
• Communicating positively with the children and families
• Being reliable, respectful and work constructively with your colleagues and other professionals
• Providing high-quality care and education for children age 0-2 years
• Implementing education and care programs that meet the holistic needs of the individual child as part of a community
• Ensuring a trusting relationship is developed with families through regular, honest and open communication regarding the care of their child
• Having sound knowledge of current child care practices, the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework

About You

To be successful in this position, you must have:

• A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
• A current Working with Children's Check
• Current First Aid Certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
• Food Handling Certificate or willing to obtain
• Understanding and knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
• Australian working rights
