Bar Staff – The Barn Stormhill (Wedding Venue)

Position: Casual Bar Staff

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Attendants to join our events team and deliver exceptional service during weddings and private functions. You’ll be responsible for the responsible service of alcohol, maintaining a clean and organised bar area, and contributing to a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up the bar prior to guest arrival, ensuring all beverages, glassware, and garnishes are prepared.

Serve beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with RSA guidelines.

Monitor and manage alcohol consumption responsibly throughout the event.

Keep the bar area tidy, clean glassware, and restock items as needed.

Work closely with the event coordinator and venue staff to ensure smooth timing of beverage service.

Provide friendly, attentive customer service and respond to guest needs efficiently.

Assist with bar pack down and clean-up at the conclusion of the event.

Essential Requirements:

Current RSA certification (Responsible Service of Alcohol)

Experience working in hospitality

Driver’s licence, as no public transport is available to the property.

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Neat presentation and a proactive, can-do attitude

Able to lift and carry moderate loads (crates, boxes, kegs if required)
