About the role

SHY Rehab' is seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team in Bundall, QLD. As a full-time Speech Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality speech therapy services to our diverse client base. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the continued growth and development of our services.

What you'll be doing

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for clients of all ages
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to address a range of speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Work closely with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver effective, evidence-based interventions
• Maintain detailed client records and communicate progress to stakeholders
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our speech therapy services
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in speech pathology

What we're looking for

• A degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification
• Eligibility for registration with the Speech Pathology Australia
• Minimum 1 years' experience as a Speech Pathologist, preferably in a clinical or rehabilitation setting
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to develop and implement tailored treatment plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals
• Proficient in the use of speech pathology software and technology
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to contribute to the growth of the organisation
• Interested in travelling to Hervey Bay QLD to support regional areas
