Dental Avenue Parramatta is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant/Dental Nurse to join our team in Parramatta, NSW.

Experience in dental assisting in Australia is a must and essential for this role.

As a Dental Assistant/Dental Nurse, you will play a crucial role in supporting the dentists and hygienists and ensuring the smooth running of the practice.

What you'll be doing

Assisting dentists during procedures by passing instruments, mixing materials, and maintaining a clean working environment

Preparing treatment rooms and equipment for patient appointments

Providing excellent patient care, including greeting patients, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort

Maintaining accurate patient records and updating treatment plans

Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment

Ordering and stocking dental supplies as needed

What we're looking for

A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant/Dental Nurse, preferably in a private dental practice setting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient care

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in using dental equipment and software

A passion for the dental industry and a commitment to continuing professional development

A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with the dental team
