About the Role
Our key state government client is seeking a Manager, Risk Advisory (AO8). This role leads risk management and internal compliance functions. You’ll champion a positive risk management culture, provide expert strategic advice, and help drive improved business outcomes across the department.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Leading and building risk management performance and capability
• Advising governance committees and senior executives on risk strategy
• Identifying and addressing emerging issues, trends, and treatments
• Preparing high-quality performance reports and strategic submissions
• Designing and delivering tailored risk training and workshops
• Overseeing internal compliance and regulatory monitoring
• Collaborating to embed risk into planning and achieve departmental objectives

Your Talents:

• Qualifications or relevant experience in risk management
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• Experience facilitating training and communicating across all levels
• Strategic planning insight, with a focus on integrated risk and opportunity
• Familiarity with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools
