TÜV Rheinland Australia Pty Ltd was founded in 2007 and since then TÜV Rheinland Australia has been continuously growing its presence in Australia. The main business of Australia office is to provide testing, certification and inspection service for Electrical and electronic products including consumer products, industrial equipment, components, etc.
We are seeking a certification engineer with minimum of 3 years of experience in product testing, certification, or quality assurance of electrical or electronic products.
The Role:
Reporting to Certification Manager, you will be responsible for duties including:
· Conduct comprehensive certification reviews for a wide range of electrical products, ensuring compliance with Australia/New Zealand and international standards and regulations.
· Prepare detailed evaluation reports, documenting the assessment process, findings, and conclusions.
· Keep abreast of changes in standards and regulations, ensuring our certification processes remain current and effective.
· Participate in technical committees and industry groups to represent TÜV Rheinland and contribute to the development of standards and best practices.
· Manage certification projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines are met and communication with clients is clear and effective.
About You
To be successful in this position you will require the following skills/experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Recognition by Engineers Australia is preferable.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in product testing, certification, or quality assurance of electrical or electronic products.
• Familiarity with a wide range of national and international standards (e.g., IEC, AS/NZS) and Australia regulatory requirements related to electrical products.
• Knowledge to the safety standards in household appliances, power supplies, PV solar inverters and DC isolators are definitely advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive and independent worker, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
