Primary Teacher - Full-time, Fixed Term (Workforce Management)

Start Date: 3 June 2025 (start date can be negotiated) to 31 December 2025

St Joseph's School Northam is situated in the picturesque Avon Valley, 50 minutes from Midland CBD, with approximately 780 students from Pre Kindergarten to Year 12.

Selection Criteria:

Special skills are needed and applications are invited from applicants who possess the following attributes:

* be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education,

* be able to demonstrate highly competent classroom management and learning area skills,

* possess a sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum,

* demonstrates an understanding of the need for both Explicit and Differentiated instruction within a classroom environment,

* be a creative, flexible and enthusiastic educator who understands and can demonstrate the importance of ICT being embedded and integrated into their teaching practices,

* be an enthusiastic and cooperative team person who will work collaboratively with all teachers and the
Leadership Team,

* understand the importance of feedback to parents and students,

* show initiative and participate fully in school activities,

* demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and excellent communication and organisational skills; and

* hold a Bachelor of Education 4 year qualifications.

The successful applicants must have a current Working With Children Check and provide a valid CrimTrac.
