Role purpose
This will be a high profile role working in a key part of the organisation that provides a platform used across their entire business with the Restaurant Tech/Hospitality industry.

You will report to the Head of Product, and play a key role to improve the operations and services of their B2B platform, in turn driving customer satisfaction at all levels.

We're looking for a pragmatic and results-driven leader who can build strong partnerships and collaborate across the organisation, leveraging both technical expertise and best-in-class product management practices to drive success.

The platform can cater for their restaurants entire daily needs and services over 100k customers a day. This is an integral part of the companies success, and your role will oversee the product development of the platform, enhancing existing products as well as continuously looking at ways to improve the operations and efficiencies of their customers business.

The role will always be looking and new opportunities on the platform which may be outside of the restaurant industry such as AI/ML to provide insights for their customers and enable data driven decisions across both technology and business operations.

Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Own and execute the product strategy for the platform.
  • Develop and maintain a multi-year product roadmap.
  • Create business cases and project documentation.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies.

Product Delivery

  • Partner with cross-functional teams.
  • Champion the use of intelligent systems, AI and automation tools.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to define product requirements.
  • Monitor product performance using KPIs.
  • Provide product knowledge and a sound understanding of market and competitors.
  • Lead and manage the execution of product launches.
  • Ensure all product solutions are scalable and flexible.

People

  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across departments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key business leaders to gather feedback, communicate product progress, and align on objectives.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and cross-functional alignment.
  • Advocate for the internal user experience.
  • Contribute to a high performance team environment.

Ideally, you will have

  • 3+ years of product management experience, with a strong track record of managing complex internal systems or B2B platforms
  • Retail industry or similar B2C fast-paced, operations-heavy environments.
  • Experience within QSR "Quick Service Restaurants" is highly desirable.
  • Experience with automation, AI/ML solutions, self-service or process optimisation tools, especially within internal tools or backend platforms.
  • Strong technical acumen, with the ability to understand and communicate effectively with engineering, data, and technical teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with diverse teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Build strong relationships within the Restaurants from Franchisees to Restaurant leaders.
  • Demonstrated leadership in guiding teams through the full product lifecycle, from ideation to implementation and iteration.
  • Ability to develop and execute on a multi-year product strategy.
  • Solid understanding of design principles and agile development approaches.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline – Engineering, Business or marketing desirable.
