Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing high-quality software using C++ / Qt and OpenGL in Linux environments.
• Creating code that is well-designed, testable, and thoroughly documented.
• Interacting with clients and working closely with a passionate team of scientists and engineers to share the future of defence solutions.
• Providing ongoing enhancements, maintenance, and support in existing systems and platforms.

Key criteria & experience:

• Holding an active Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) Security Clearance.
• Willingness to be on site full time at DST Fishermans Bend.
• Strong C++ proficiency and familiarity with Git/version control.
• Proven experience in the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with SCRUM or Agile working environments and methodologies.
• Familiarity with Qt and/or OpenGL
• Commitment and a drive to continuously challenge and improve yourself.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar domain.
