Plantman Equipment is seeking an experienced and motivated Heavy Duty Plant Mechanic to join our team in Bellevue, WA. With an expanding fleet of brand-new Caterpillar machines, service trucks, and water trucks, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and servicing equipment that supports clients across Australia. You’ll be part of a tight-knit team in a workshop environment that values safety, teamwork, and getting the job done right.

Key Responsibilities

Perform repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on a wide range of earthmoving and mining equipment including wheel loaders, dozers, graders, and excavators.

Work with a variety of equipment brands including Caterpillar, Komatsu, Isuzu and more.

Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and servicing of equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Complete safety documentation including risk assessments, SWMSs, Take 5s, and task planning.

Collaborate with the workshop team to ensure timely and high-quality repairs.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

What We’re Looking For

Trade Qualified: Recognised Australian Trade Certificate in Heavy Diesel or Plant Mechanic.

Experienced: A solid work history with strong references in similar roles.

Technically Skilled: Hands-on experience with a range of heavy equipment across various brands.

Safety-First Mindset: Committed to safe work practices and completing all required safety documentation.

Team Player: Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team culture.

Adaptable: Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic workshop environment.
