Chambers Contracting is a family-owned and operated business seeking heavy duty diesel mechanics to join our team in Broome, WA.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnose and service machinery
• Fault finding
• Field service
• Working on a range of machinery including but not limited to Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr, road trains, drill rigs, marine engines and crushing plant equipment

What we're looking for

• Heavy Duty Diesel mechanic trade qualification
• Valid C class driver’s license
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong understanding of diesel engine mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Proficiency in the use of diagnostic equipment and tools required for heavy equipment maintenance and repair
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve complex mechanical issues
• Commitment to safety and a track record of working in compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with both technical and non-technical team members
• A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence
