Reporting to the General Manager (residential-based), this role offers full responsibility for mine operations, with oversight of a dedicated technical services team. Working back-to-back with an experienced and long-serving Mine Manager, you’ll benefit from a supportive and collaborative leadership structure designed to set you up for success.

About the Operation

Located in regional NSW, this polymetallic underground mining operation comprises two separate mines feeding a central processing plant. Ore is sourced from several active underground mining areas using open stope mining with backfill, and processed in campaigns to produce separate copper, lead, and zinc concentrates — alongside significant gold and silver production.

Recent drilling has focused on extending known orebodies and evaluating new high-value targets.

About You
You’ll be an experienced underground Mine Manager with:

• A proven track record in managing underground hard rock mining operations.
• Strong technical and operational understanding of underground mining methods.
• Demonstrated leadership capability with a focus on building culture and capability.
• NSW Mining Engineering Manager (MEM) Certificate of Competence (or ability to obtain).
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
