About the Company:

This established national civil contracting business specialises in remote area construction projects for blue-chip resource sector clients in mining, energy and industrial industries. They are masters in the art of heavy insitu concrete placement (FRP) for industrial construction developments nationwide for minesite infrastructure, gas plants, refineries, and renewable energy projects. They have an immediate requirement for an experienced Construction Manager to lead delivery of a $50m+ package of mass concrete works in WA’s Pilbara region.

About the Role:

This permanent Construction Manager position will involve working on FIFO 2/1 roster (ex Perth), where you will motivate and lead the site delivery team (130+ crew) to achieve optimum daily cohesion and output. You will be central to the planning and scheduling of the site works based around the workforce rosters, and utilize your strong commercial skills in order to maximise project outcomes. As such it is essential that you have an established knowledge of the unique challenges of delivering remote concrete/FRP projects in Australia for other civil contractors. We are seeking a high-energy Construction Manager who will bring enthusiasm to this role to successfully lead the company’s large site team on this signature industrial project. The successful Construction Manager will be offered a tremendous package CIRCA $325K + Super (*incl. site uplift).

Skills & Experience & Requirements:

• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in senior roles (ie. Project Manager/Construction Manager/SPE) planning & managing construction of remote area insitu concrete/FRP projects in the resources or industrial sectors
• Proven success in similar Construction Manager roles for civil contractors in Australia leading large workforces 100+ (*Not EPCM or Client side)
• Excellent all-round communication skills and high levels of energy and enthusiasm to motivate others
• IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE and currently WA/Perth based
• Existing rights to live and work in Australia are a prerequisite
