About the Role

Premier People are currently assisting our client, an industry leader in the manufacturing of screen media, with their requirement for FIFO Screen Technicians. Fantastic opportunity to work at multiple Mine sites across Western Australia for ongoing work. Entry level and experienced technicians encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities include:

Hold a valid and current driver’s license

Proven experience in physically demanding roles involving repetitive bending, twisting, kneeling, and lifting of up to 20kg

Strong ability to multitask and perform effectively under tight deadlines

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly for field conditioning and servicing work

Execution of site work as per approved planning of scope of work specifications

Inspect and troubleshoot the conditions reporting any discrepancies to supervision

Conform to and promote OHS and Safe Working Practices

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must be prepared to complete a pre-employment medical check and a drugs and alcohol test. Successful applicants must have rights to work in Australia and hold the following:

Compulsory

Valid Driver’s License

Working at Heights (RIIWHS204D)

Working in Confined Spaces (RIIWHS202D)

Gas Testing Atmospheres (MSAPHOS217A)

Demonstrate First Attack Fire Fighting Equipment (CPPFES2005)

National Police Clearance within 6 months

Desirable

BHP, Rio Tinto, FMG and Goldfields inductions
