About the role

As we continue to grow BMR Piping & Civil are looking for motivated Dewatering Technicians to join our team. This is a FIFO role from Perth, Western Australia. You will play a crucial part in our clients mining operations, ensuring efficient and effective dewatering processes to support our clients' mining activities.

What you'll be doing

Operate and maintain dewatering equipment, including pumps, HDPE pipes, and hoses

Monitor water levels and flow rates to optimise dewatering performance

Perform routine inspections and maintenance on dewatering systems

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with dewatering equipment

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Maintain detailed records and provide reports on dewatering activities

Collaborate with the wider mining operations team to achieve project goals

Working on a 7 days/7nights/7 off roster

What we're looking for

Demonstrated experience as a Dewatering Technician or in a similar role within the mining industry

Strong understanding of dewatering equipment, including pumps, HDPE pipe, and hoses

Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Commitment to maintaining a safe and environmentally responsible work environment

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Relevant certifications or qualifications in mining, water management, or a related field would be highly regarded

Skills and Experience:

Current HR Driver’s License

HDPE Butt Welding Ticket completed within last 2 years

Excavator/IT loader Tickets

Telehandler Ticket

General Construction Induction ticket (or willing to obtain)

Must be able to pass Pre-employment medicals and drug & alcohol screens.

Must be able to travel to site as required
