What are we looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or additional certifications or training in cable systems, power systems, or relevant electrical engineering areas (such as certifications in cable design or testing standards).
• 5+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in designing electrical cable systems for various applications, such as power transmission, telecommunications, and data systems.
• Proficiency in designing electrical cable systems for various applications, such as power transmission, telecommunications, and data systems.
• Strong understanding of Australian electrical standards (cables).
• In-depth understanding of electrical power systems and how cable systems integrate into broader electrical networks.
• Hands-on experience in cable installation, commissioning, and maintenance for electrical power systems, industrial installations, or telecommunications infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of safety standards in cable engineering.
• Strong problem solving, technical, math and science skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
