As an Enterprise Risk Advisor, you’ll play a key role in strengthening enterprise risk capability across a diverse organisation that is delivering impact at a national level.
Working in the Office of the CEO and reporting to the Senior Manager – Enterprise Risk, you’ll champion the implementation and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF), working closely with stakeholders at all levels to embed a proactive, informed approach to risk and resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice to stakeholders on risk identification, analysis, treatment and monitoring.
- Support delivery of strategic and operational risk reviews, including facilitating workshops and developing education materials.
- Maintain and improve enterprise risk systems, including user support, access control, and reporting dashboard development.
- Prepare risk reports for leadership, and drive continuous uplift in risk documentation quality.
- Coordinate quarterly Key Risk Indicator (KRI) monitoring and environmental scanning to detect emerging risks.
- Support activities across organisational resilience, including business continuity planning and impact assessments.
- Champion a positive risk culture through influence, education, and strong stakeholder relationships.
What You'll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Risk Management or a related discipline (or relevant certifications e.g., CPRA, CPRM).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting enterprise or operational risk functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent verbal and written communication.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and engage stakeholders across all organisational levels.
- Experience with risk systems, data analysis tools (Power BI desirable), and Microsoft Suite.
- Sound understanding of business processes, interdependencies, and risk contexts (e.g. regulatory, environmental, reputational).
