The Barrier Reef Child Care Centre is seeking motivated Diploma Qualified Educators to join our team of passionate educators.

FULL-TIME, PART-TIME and CASUAL positions available.

Barrier Reef Community Child Care Centre is a 60 place not-for-profit centre led by a management committee of parents and community members.

We adhere to a holistic approach of early childhood education that provides children with a happy, safe, secure and nurturing experience, and encourages parent participation.

We believe within every family and every culture the experience of childhood is a unique journey and we are committed to providing an environment that promotes a sense of being, belonging and becoming.

Our service has large natural outdoor areas, an onsite cook, and operates between the hours of 7.30am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

To fill this role you must have the following skills and experience:

Hold or be working towards a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or an ACECQA approved equivalent.

Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

Experience within the Early Childhood Industry

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)

First Aid certificate
