About the Role:

As a Senior Data Engineer at Service NSW, you will deliver expert advice and services in the design of data products and data-related services to support the achievement of business outcomes and strategic goals.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to design, build, test, and maintain complex data management systems, ensuring they meet business requirements and user needs. Your role will involve delivering automated, reliable, and secure services that provide valuable insights to inform decision-making.

Additionally, you will mentor and coach others to develop a suite of robust and automated products aligned with best practice methodologies and industry standards.

We empower Service NSW, a data rich Organisation that provides the people of NSW with world-class one-stop-shop access to NSW government services, by harnessing the power of data and delivering innovative solutions that drive performance, operational efficiency, and enhance customer experience.

Our team provides expertise and technical leadership in statistical and information analysis, designing innovative data products and services. We partner with stakeholders to develop and maintain data management systems that meet diverse business needs, ensuring compliance with data security and governance standards. By driving process improvements and optimising data delivery, we support Service NSW in delivering efficient, customer-centric services

About You:

We are seeking a talented Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team at Service NSW. As a passionate data professional, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of government services. You will work with cutting-edge technologies to design, develop, and implement innovative data solutions that drive efficiency, improve decision-making, and enhance the customer experience.

Demonstrated experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Data Solutions and Power Platforms technologies will be highly desirable.
