Waste Services Operator - Kerbside

Now, we're looking for a motivated and community-minded Waste Services Operator to join our dedicated Waste Services team.

About the role

As a Waste Services Operator, you’ll be on the front line of our kerbside waste and organics collection service—serving both rural and urban households and businesses. Your day-to-day will involve:

Operating collection vehicles across the municipality

Providing excellent customer service in the field

Assisting with landfill operations, transfer station maintenance, and organics processing

Ensuring our high standards of safety and service are met

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who takes pride in their work, cares about the environment, and thrives in a team setting. Ideally, you will have:

A current HR licence (essential)

A clean driving record

A strong work ethic and positive attitude

A genuine interest in sustainable waste management

Great communication and customer service skills

The ability to start early and work efficiently in the field

Experience in the waste industry is a bonus, but not essential
