About the role

Blooming Kids', a leading early childhood education provider in Port Macquarie NSW, is seeking a motivated and experienced Diploma or Certificate 3 qualified Childcare professional to join our dedicated team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and education to our young learners, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and overall development.

What you'll be doing

Implementing engaging and age-appropriate educational programs that promote children's physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth

Maintaining a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that adheres to all relevant regulations and guidelines

Fostering positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community

Observing and documenting children's progress, and using this information to tailor your approach

Collaborating with the wider team to continuously improve the quality of our services

Actively participating in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

Diploma or Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care, or equivalent

Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the childcare industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families

Excellent organisation and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail

A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to promoting the wellbeing of children

Current First Aid and CPR certification, as well as a valid Working with Children Check

An understanding in food health and safety practices
