We are 100% online to allow for impact, accessibility and scalability for all Australians and we are looking for an experienced and compassionate Contractor Speech Therapist to join our team.

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Contract Speech Pathologist to join our new virtual practice. In this role, you’ll provide remote speech therapy services to individuals (including those with a disability/divergence). You’ll work closely with clients to enhance their communication skills and support their participation in everyday activities, school, and community life.

We are ideally looking for someone who would like management opportunities in the near future once the business grows, i.e. training new junior employees; team lead.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for clients with a range of conditions (e.g., Autism, ADHD, stroke, MS, hearing impairments).

Support language development, speech clarity, and social communication skills.

Develop strategies to assist with social interactions, conversation flow, and understanding non-verbal cues.

Assist clients with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices and other assistive technologies.

Collaborate with allied health professionals to deliver holistic care.

Educate families and caregivers on how to implement communication strategies at home and in the community.

Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.

Key Requirements

Degree in Speech Pathology as a minimum.

Speech Pathologist Australia membership

Minimum 3 years experience, please note there is no Speech Therapy supervision available.

Experience working with NDIS participants

Have own ABN

A client-centered approach, focusing on personalized treatment plans and measurable outcomes.

Ability to work independently and manage a caseload remotely, with strong organizational skills.

Current full working rights in Australia

Proficiency in using online platforms for assessments and therapy.

BYO laptop & strong internet connection is a necessity.
