We are 100% online to allow for impact, accessibility and scalability for all Australians and we are looking for an experienced and compassionate Contractor Occupational Therapists to join our team.

The Role:

We are searching for an experienced Occupational Therapist (including NDIS experience) to join our new virtual practice as a contractor. We are looking for someone to deliver assessments to develop individualised treatment plans and implement effective strategies to improve clients' daily living skills, mobility, and overall quality of life and manage their progress..

We do not have a minimum hour per week requirement, and looking for someone who is seeking supplementary hours, to grow with us to a pace that suits you.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct occupational therapy assessments via telehealth.

Develop tailored therapy programs focused on enhancing daily living skills, mobility, and overall well-being with a focus on in-home care & community independence for independent living.

Provide recommendations for assistive devices and modifications to improve the home environment

Work with clients, their families, and carers to ensure therapy goals are achieved.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and reports.

Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

BYO laptop & strong internet connection is a necessity.

Proficiency in using online platforms for assessments and therapy.

Key Requirements:

University degree in Occupational Therapy as a minimum

Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (AHPRA).

Minimum 3 years of professional work experience (disability and/or neurodivergent experience is required). Please note there is no OT supervision available.

A compassionate and client-centered approach with the ability to communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards and ethics

Current full working rights in Australia
