What you'll do

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and coordinate high-level financial reports, including monthly Board and performance reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Compliance Focus: Work to improve compliance with regulatory reporting requirements for areas such as income tax, GST, FBT, and payroll tax.
• Group Consolidation: Oversee group consolidation and the corporate ledgers for multiple subsidiaries
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate closely with various departments to integrate accounting standards into budgets and forecasts, contributing to the group's financial planning and strategic initiatives.
• Cashflow & Capital Expenditure: Manage cashflow forecasts, ensuring capital expenditure is tracked and aligned with corporate objectives.
• Strategic Support: Support the Financial Controller in strategic planning, project work, and systems/process improvements that directly impact business performance.

What You'll Bring:

• Big 4/Mid-Tier Foundation: Minimum 3+ years of experience in a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm.
• Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• Relevant Qualifications: CA or CPA
• Financial Expertise: Strong knowledge of IFRS, ASX/ASIC compliance, tax legislation, and ERP financial systems.
• Leadership & Communication: The ability to engage with stakeholders on both an executive and operational level
