DWS are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with demonstrable Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM systems HRIS experience to understand current business processes, gaps, fail points and risks. With the view of providing support to the business by gathering business requirements, assessing needs against existing and new systems, assisting in the establishment of project scope, designing processes and new solutions to improve business efficiency and productivity. You will also be responsible for understanding business outcomes, existing applications and designing functional requirements to support the required changes.

All applicants must hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency (PR) – DWS are unable to sponsor or support visas.

Hybrid; 3-4 days per week in CBD office + WFH
Salary: up to $200K pro-rata (inc super) depending on experience

What we're looking for

  • Business Systems Analyst experience with an emphasis on Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM - HR + HCM Analytics modules specifically
  • Expereince with Oracle Taleo (recruitment / talent acquisition) would be highly adventageous
  • Functional HRIS Systems focus on both business & technical projects in your work as a BA
  • Demonstrable understanding of Employee Relations and how to convert these into business systems requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to document as-is business processes, following Business Process Modelling and Notation (BPMN) and undertake a gap analysis
  • Exceptional communication skills in both spoken & written English
  • Stakeholder Engagement/Management skills and ability to influence
  • A formal BA qualification such as IIBA CCBA, CBAP or AAC / CPOA
  • Commercial experience in applying formal methodologies such as BABOK, Scrum, BPMN
  • A flexible and adaptable attitude

Your responsibilities

  • Plan and lead all Systems Business Analysis activities
  • Review existing business and project documentation
  • Conduct workshops with the business to understand as-is business processes, identify gaps and gather requirements for the agreed scope
  • Document as-is business processes following Business Process Modelling and Notation (BPMN) and undertake a gap analysis
  • Document all business, functional and non-functional requirements in a Business Requirements Document
  • Provide a clear and easy to follow requirements management process, including gathering, validating, prioritising and tracing
  • Facilitate discussions with various disciplines to reach a consensus on requirements and escalate as required in a timely manner where a consensus cannot be reached
  • Engage with internal stakeholders including planning and running meetings and workshops, and preparing follow up minutes and actions
  • Provide timely updates to the Project Manager in agreed format and frequency
  • Adhere to the Business Analysis Framework and Project Management Framework
  • Any other business analysis related activity as reasonably requested by the Project Manager
