Our leading global mining client is proud to be a leading Australian producer of premium quality hard coking coal for export steel markets within Central Queensland's Bowen Basin, with additional joint ventures in steel making coal, copper and magnanese across North West Queensland and Western Australia. With steelmaking coal being an essential ingredient in blast-furnace steel manufacture, producing steel used for critical building and infrastructure around the world, this is an fantastic opportunity to join a leading growing client with a focus on sustainability, innovation and progression within the workforce and supporting local communities.

What you will be Doing

In this role you will become a part of a busy mine as a Multi Skilled Operator. You will be operating a Komatsu 830E OR 930E or above within a coal mining setting as well as other associated equipment such as Dozer D10/D11, Grader 16/24 or Excavator Hitachi 5500- 6060, 3500.

You will be working a 7/7 roster of Days and Nights all roles are available for Residential and DIDO Operators, DIDO roles will have Camp Supplied.

What you will need

Previous mining experience operating dump trucks with a minimum skill of Komatsu 830E OR 930E + two other skills such as Truck + Dozer + Grader or Excavator.

You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this.

SSE signed skills list, Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia

The ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical Assessment prior to commencement
