As the Senior Project Officer operating from within the Investment Attraction and Facilitation team you will be involved in a range of initiatives which contribute to growth of the tourism infrastructure investment pipeline including coordinating and implementing strategies, investor and lead generation, stakeholder engagement and managing projects to attract and facilitate investment into the delivery of new tourism infrastructure in Queensland.

You will:
• Identify and target new tourism infrastructure investors and develop investor leads to progress towards successful delivery of new tourism infrastructure.
• Develop collateral to showcase Queensland as a competitive tourism investment destination.
• Coordinate and support investment attraction initiatives including inbound and outbound missions.
• Contribute to growth of Queensland's tourism infrastructure investment pipeline through delivery of new infrastructure leads and providing facilitation support to progress projects through the pipeline.
• Support the development and implementation of strategies to promote Queensland as a tourism investment destination.
• Analyse industry data and investment trends to identify future tourism demand and infrastructure gaps which inform investment attraction activities.
• Mange the reporting requirements of the team and provide briefings, submissions, reports, correspondence and presentations on tourism investment and facilitation, policy and program issues to senior management, the Minister and other key stakeholders.
• Undertake any other duties in line with the objectives of the Investment Attraction and Facilitation Team under instruction from the Director and/or Manager.
• Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations peoples of Australia.
