About the role

We are seeking experienced Skipper/Tour Guides to join our team at Lake Argyle Cruises' in Western Australia. In this casual role, you will be responsible for safely operating our vessels and providing informative and engaging tours to our visitors, showcasing the natural beauty of Lake Argyle and its surrounding landscapes.

What you'll be doing

Safely operating and navigating our vessels on Lake Argyle, ensuring the safety of all passengers

Delivering informative and entertaining commentary about the history, wildlife, and geology of the lake and its surroundings

Assisting with the loading and unloading of passengers, and ensuring a high level of customer service

Conducting pre-departure safety checks and maintaining the vessels to a high standard

Adhering to all relevant maritime regulations and company policies

Collaborating with the wider tour guide team to deliver a seamless and memorable experience for our guests

What we're looking for

A valid Master <24 and Coxswain NC1 certificate.

Significant experience as a skipper/tour guide, with a deep knowledge of the local area and its natural history

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and entertain a diverse range of guests

A passion for the outdoors, tourism, and providing exceptional customer service

A flexible and adaptable approach to working, as the role may require weekend and holiday work
