We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Asset Manager to join our dynamic Asset Management Team located in South Melbourne precinct. The Opportunity

As the Assistant Asset Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Asset Management Team by implementing efficient business practices, managing tenant and landlord relationships, and ensuring smooth property operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Assist the Asset Management Team with managing leasing and property management authorities, lease documents, and other forms in compliance with legislation.

Collect and analyze leasing data for comparable properties to support rent reviews and valuations.

Administer leases and ensure all charges and receipts are processed accurately and on time.

Manage arrears, including preparing arrears reports, sending notices, and following up with tenants (via phone and email).

Ensure tenant records in the system are accurate and up to date.

Conduct annual property inspections and reviews, providing recommendations for improvements.

Assist with general administrative tasks, such as maintaining property filing systems, registers, and databases.

Undertake other ad hoc duties as required.

To be successful you will need:

Experience in Commercial Assistant Property Management.

A proactive attitude and excellent professional communication skills.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Immaculate personal presentation and a high level of professionalism and integrity.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

A Certificate of Registration as a Real Estate Representative or Estate Agency Licence (desirable, or willingness to undertake in the future).

Tertiary qualifications in Building, Property, Accounting, or Valuations (advantageous).
