Landmark Inspections is an independent inspection business that provides detailed inspection reports to clients that are building a new home. These construction stage inspections are to provide the client with peace of mind that their new home is being built to a good standard and to hold the builder accountable to rectify any defective work.

About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced builder that wants to get off the tools to join our team. The ideal candidate must be able to work autonomously and conduct tasks including:

- Complete construction stage inspections on new builds.

- Complete detailed reports utilising our state of the art reporting technology.

- Must be able to inspect roof spaces.

- Be able to communicate with clients as an expert within the construction industry.

- Be enthusiastic and approachable.

Skills and experience

- Minimum of 15 years construction industry experience.

- Registered building practitioner.

- Attention to detail to document small defects all the way to major structural defects.

- Sound written and verbal communication skills.

- Drivers licence and reliable vehicle.

- Basic inspection tools including, tape measure, level, ladder & PPE.

- Current police check.

- A working knowledge of building codes.

- Computer/iPad literate.

- Competent in plan reading.
