Qualifications & experience
AHPRA Registered Occupational Therapists
Accredited Practicing Dietitian with the Dietitians Association of Australia
Bachelor/ Master's degree or equivalent
Min 3 years of experience with Kids as from 5+ years old and Adults.
Min 3 years with Autism and Mental Health is highly desirable
NDIS check
National Police Check
Working with Children Check
Valid Driver's License and Car registration
Tasks & responsibilities
Occupational Therapy:
Assess and Conduct FCA Assessments and home modifications.
Provide ongoing NDIS participants' OT therapy services for Neurological Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health and Kids as from 5 years old, at home and in the community (schools, etc)
Identify and provide appropriate information, community events and education, where needed, to participants and families
Maintain detailed documentation for provided services
Ability to work independently and in a team
Dietitian:
Manage and conduct nutritional intervention in medical centres for various medical conditions and NDIS at home, community and aged care
Experience with Autistic Kids as from 5 years old
Manage and conduct NDIS clients' nutritional interventions and Meal plans for enteral feeding (HEN and PEG), Mental Health and Autism
Train and advise support workers with NDIS clients' nutrition needs
Guide and assist support workers and NDIS clients on understanding enteral nutrition (HEN)
Regular review and documentation of nutrition supports to meet individual needs
Ability to work independently and in a team
