$54.87 to $65.72 per hour + salary packaging | Associate Nurse Unit Manager - Steele Haughton
Permanent full time including a monthly ADO
About the Role
This role offers the opportunity to provide evidence based, family inclusive treatments for clients in inpatient mental health services. You will be responsible for delivering care that supports recovery from serious mental disorders, while contributing to the development and oversight of patient treatment plans and therapeutic programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical treatments in line with national standards and best practices
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, leading to treatment plan development
- Supervise staff, and evaluate the effectiveness of patient treatment
- Educate patients, families, and carers on mental health management
- Oversee risk management plan development and completion
- Contribute to psychotherapeutic programs like daily living skills and communication
Skills & Experience
- Professional Nursing qualifications and AHPRA registration
- Experience with evidence-based treatments for serious mental disorders
- Knowledge of Mental Health Act 2014 and other relevant legislation
- Strong communication skills and ability to build collaborative relationships
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvement
