Riverside Recruitment have partnered with a multi office accounting firm to recruit a Director (salary) to join their accounting team. The firm have over 30 staff, are very well established and have excellent systems and processes.

About the role

Our client is looking for a Chartered Accountant to join the firm at the Director (or Senior Manager) level and then is offering equity within two years.

Manage a fee base of business clients ($1m)

Business services compliance, review and advisory services

Manage 3 staff, delegate work and ensure work is completed to a high standard

Contribute to the weekly leadership meeting to discuss firm profitability, staffing and process improvements

Ideal candidate

10+ years' experience working in a boutique or mid-tier accounting firm

CA or CPA qualified

Business services compliance experience including tax returns, financial statements, CGT, FBT and Div 7a issues

Someone confident to run client meetings and take on new clients with no supervision

Someone interested in business development, retaining clients and firm growth
