About the Position

We are seeking passionate clinicians with a strong interest in medical education to join our team. We have multiple opportunities available across the following disciplines:

0.4 FTE Discipline Lead, Mental Health

0.4 FTE Discipline Lead, Medicine

0.2 FTE Discipline Lead, Emergency Medicine

These positions will collaborate with clinicians across multiple sites in Southeast QLD and Northern NSW where Bond students are placed within the relevant discipline, including hospital and community locations for some disciplines and work closely with the leadership team of the Bond Medical Program. They will play a key role in developing discipline-specific curriculum and assessment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality medical education across various clinical placement locations.

About the Person

The ideal candidates will be clinically active specialists in Mental Health, Medicine or Emergency Medicine with expertise in contemporary teaching and learning practices. They will have exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality education to medical students, fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment that inspires future healthcare professionals.

Further candidates will also have the following:

Current registration as a Specialist within the relevant discipline in Australia.

Current active clinical practice as a Specialist in the relevant discipline in either the Public or Private sector on the Gold Coast, Brisbane, or Northern NSW regions.

Knowledge and experience of contemporary teaching and learning practice.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate and perform effectively, and to develop teamwork with and make progress with an academic team spread across multiple sites.

Salary details

The salary for (0.4 FTE) part time position commences at $73,683.31 per annum (Full-time Equivalent $184,208.27), plus 11.5 % superannuation per annum.

The salary for (0.2 FTE) part time position commences at $36,841.65 per annum (Full-time Equivalent $184,208.27), plus 11.5 % superannuation per annum.

These positions will be eligible for clinical loading, pro rata, $34,611.12 (FTE) per annum, plus 11.5% superannuation.
