THE ROLE

Looking for a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to join their team and help them grow their client base in the logistics and freight forwarding sector. This is a hands-on role focused on identifying new opportunities, developing strong commercial relationships, and helping position us as a go-to logistics partner across a range of industries.

You’ll be at the forefront of our growth efforts, engaging with potential clients, building trust, and working with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet complex logistics needs.

What you'll be doing:

Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across targeted sectors and geographies

Building strong, long-term relationships with clients, freight partners, and key industry contacts

Collaborating with internal operations and customer service teams to ensure client needs are met smoothly from onboarding through delivery

Attending industry events and staying informed about trends, competitors, and emerging needs in the logistics space

Reporting on pipeline activity, sales performance, and helping refine business development strategies

You’ll have the autonomy to shape your approach, backed by a supportive team and an organisation that values initiative and follow-through.

ABOUT YOU

You’re commercially minded, solutions-focused, and have a natural ability to connect with people. You understand the ins and outs of logistics or you’re a quick learner with experience selling into related industries and you’re comfortable navigating conversations that involve technical, operational, and commercial factors.

What you bring:

Experience in business development or sales, ideally within logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, or a similar industry

A strong understanding of client acquisition strategies and the ability to open doors and close deals

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, you know how to earn trust and maintain it

A self-starting attitude with a knack for uncovering opportunities and turning them into long-term value

The ability to manage your own pipeline and thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

SALARY & BENEFITS

$90,000 to $130,000 + Super + Car / Allowance + Comms
