About Us

Chefs On The Run find work for Experienced Chefs, Cooks, Catering Assistants, Kitchen hands and Waiters throughout NSW.

For more than 30 years Chefs On The Run has been building strong relationships with thousands of clients in all areas of hospitality, tourism & catering. We currently have work on offer in Hospitality venues including Hotels, Pubs, Restaurants, Resorts and with Caterers - both large & small. We also have a lot of opportunities with Aged Care & Health and Child Care clients and for those interested in big hours, with clients in the Mining & Industrial sector (predominantly FIFO).

We are a family-owned business and pride ourselves on taking a personal approach with all of our employees as well as our clients. You’ll get to know all the members of our friendly operations team – and we will get to know you and your preferences and requirements too. If you’re tired of being treated ‘like a number’, you really should give us a try.

We are Looking for Chefs willing to work in numerous sites across NSW with more than 30 hours per week availability, willing to travel to different locations across including remote locations across NSW.

What You Can Expect

Above award Casual rates offered +Shift Penalties + Super + O/T Rates with no Cap on Maximum Hours.

Flexible Hours - longer contracts (travel & accommodation paid) for Regional / Remote gigs across Australia.

Large range of Restaurants, Clubs, Catering, Health & Aged Care sites

Qualifications & Experience

Chefs must have Min. Cert 3 Commercial Cookery and 5 years of experience post qualification and Food Safety Supervisor Certificates

Must be willing to Obtain NDIS clearance

Must have aged care experience and be familiar with IDDSI standards

Must be COVID Vaccinated x 3 and Have a current Flu shot

Must have access to own transport
