We’re currently looking for an experienced Producer to join our team on a 7-month full-time contract to support our growing slate of productions. The successful applicant will be taking the lead on some productions while assisting on others.

About the Role:

As a Producer at Abode Entertainment, you’ll play a key role in the creative and logistical execution of our projects. You’ll work across multiple productions and be involved from concept through to post. We are looking for a hard working person with a can do attitude.

Key responsibilities include:

Research and story development

Field producing and coordinating shoots

Interviewing talent and managing contributors

Taking accurate story notes

Dumping and managing rushes

Collaborating with editors during post-production

Delivering compelling, high-quality television stories

This role is based at our vibrant St Kilda Road office in Melbourne and may involve international travel.

What We’re Looking For:

Demonstrated experience producing for reality, lifestyle or factual TV

Strong storytelling and editorial instincts

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Ability and willingness to travel overseas as required

Valid passport and full driver’s licence

Comfortable working independently and as part of a small, fast-paced team
