We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced bookkeeper for our growing accounting business with great communication and personal skills wanting to work on a range of different clients in the SME market.

You will have the ability to work from home or in the office when required. While this is prodominantly a remote position, you will need to be located in Sydney in order to be available in the event that a client meeting is required. As you will be part of an accounting team, you will have access to great support in performing your duties. You will be required to liaise with clients directly and therefore communication skills must be excellent, both written and verbal. You would be working as part of a team in some circumstances and also independently in others, depending on the client needs.

The successful applicant will have experience in bookkeeping including payroll processing and STP, BAS/IAS preparation, managing superannuation obligations, payroll tax and ideally would have an accounting degree or bookkeeping specific training. You should also have experience using software such as Xero.

The position involves approximately 25 hours per week. Wage is pro-rated based on hours work.
