With recent internal promotions and a key leadership vacancy in payroll, this is an exciting time to join their finance function and step into a hands-on Payroll Specialist role.

Working closely with a collaborative team of two and reporting into a senior leader, this role will be responsible for managing complex pay runs across Australia and New Zealand and supporting the broader team through a period of transformation and systems integration.

Key Responsibilities:
• End-to-end payroll processing (fortnightly, monthly, and ad hoc) for 1,000+ employees across ANZ
• Handling payroll variations including sales commissions, bonuses, and veriation payments
• Navigating state-based legislation and NZ entitlements, including sick leave and LSL
• Reconciliations, superannuation, payroll tax and STP compliance
• Acting as a key escalation point for complex payroll queries
• Supporting the implementation of a new payroll system (ADP Lyric or similar)
• Partnering with HR to manage onboarding and terminations – chasing documents, ensuring process accuracy
• Identifying and driving continuous improvement across payroll processes
• Documenting processes and maintaining key materials in SharePoint

About You:
• 4+ years’ minimum experience in end-to-end payroll, ideally across both AU and NZ
• Strong understanding of award interpretation, state-based LSL, and payroll tax
• Demonstrated experience with complex pay structures including variable commissions and bonuses
• Previous exposure to payroll system implementations or systems integration projects
• Resilient, proactive and confident engaging with senior stakeholders (e.g. Sales leaders, HR)
• A team player who enjoys working in a close-knit, high-performing environment
• Cantonese language skills are a bonus, but not essential
